 Bill Robe Drums & Vocals Bill Robe began his musical career at the age of 11 in the junior high school band. By the time he was sixteen, he owned his first drum kit allowing him to play with other musicians. Completely mesmerized by music, Bill joined his first band in high school and has never looked back. Bill has an inherent talent for rhythm. He gives much of his education credit to Fred Gruber, a renowned drum instructor who taught Bill not only drums and percussion but how to “musically integrate” into a band. By 1975, Bill was playing professionally with other talented musicians throughout Southern California not only in live performance groups but with studio musicians as well. In the early 90s, Bill refined his recording and production skills, which inspired him to found Big Secret Music, a small record label and CD replication company based in Westlake Village, California. Bill has worked with some of LA’s top musicians and produced several CD albums for Big Secret. Bill is one of the original founders of Relish, which has been performing regularly since 1993. Bills choice of professional equipment includes Gretsch USA Custom, Premier Signia and Tempus fiberglass drums. Bill has now been playing drums professionally for more than 30 years. Not only is Bill the solid backbeat of the band, but he also sings lead and background vocals.
